No other word to describe our experience with Carpets Direct other than "superb"! From our visit to the showroom to choosing the vinyl flooring ( with very good advice from Tom ) to having the fitters ( who were brilliant! ) around the following week. We had a carpet emergency when a candle burnt a hole in our carpet in the lounge. We needed something urgently and cheaply. I phoned a couple of shops around my area to see what was on offer, nothing was right for us, not in stock needed to order, no fitters available for a few weeks..... Then I remembered about this new shop in Ham Drive and telephoned, my call was answered for the first time and within 5 minutes I was given a quote. I went to the shop an hour later and with the help of Thomas picked the right vinyl, DARK WOOK POLYFLOR. Thomas adhered to his original quote he gave me over the phone and booked the fitting for the 5th day from purchasing the vinyl.The fitters arrived early in the morning and fitted the vinyl within 2 hours, they worked with extreme dedication, precision, detailed care and concentrated on each corner. They took care of every detail including preparing the floor prior to fitting and helped us move our furniture out of the lounge. We had a wonderful experience with Thomas who made sure to secure the special adhesive that would not trigger allergic reaction.  He is a very kind human who is conscious and aware of the squeeze on families finances right now and tries to help in good faith. Carpets Direct were absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process.  My partner and I recently moved house and had majority of rooms fitted with carpet and vinyl flooring throughout. The end result is beautiful, my house feels like a home again.
